Maha Shivarathri

Mahashivratri is celebrated with great fervor at the Anandeswaram Shiva Temple, one of the major temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.Shivaratri is celebrated in the month of Kumbh.

Maha Ganapathi Homam

The Mahaganapathi Homam performed at the Anandeswaram Shiva Temple during the month of Chingam 1st. During this auspicious time, devotees gather at the temple to participate in the Mahaganapathi Homam, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the removal of obstacles and the successful completion of their endeavors.

Chirappu Mahotsavam

The Mandala Chirappu festival extends over 41 days and holds immense significance for Ayyappa temples, including ours. During these 41 days, special poojas are conducted to receive the blessings of Lord Ayyappa and to seek his divine intervention for the removal of obstacles (Shani dosha nivarana).

Dhanu Thiruvathira

Dhanu Thiruvathira is an auspicious festival celebrated at our temple with deep reverence and cultural significance. It occurs during the Malayalam month of Dhanu. This festival is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and it holds special importance for devotees seeking marital harmony, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.

Ashtami Dharsanam

Ashtami Dharshanam is a cherished festival observed at our temple, commemorating a sacred legend. According to the tale, many years ago, the revered saint Vyaghrapada devoutly prayed to Lord Shiva for an extended period. After years of unwavering devotion, Lord Shiva and his consort Parvathy Devi graciously appeared before him. This divine revelation is said to have occurred on the auspicious day of Krishna Ashtami.

Pathamudayam

Pathamudayam is celebrated on the 10th day of Medam Month in Malayalam Era and 10th day after Vishu. According to the tradition, One of the traditional observances during Pathamudayam is the Nadakkal Para ceremony, where devotees offer their contributions to the temple.
